Description
Design notes: The flag of Frankfort, Indiana was designed by 7th grader Redman Porter! Adopted in April 2023, this is Redman’s first flag adopted. The light blue represents the Frankfort Lagoons. The dark blue represents Prarie Creek which runs straight through downtown Frankfort. The wavy line represents that as well. The white represents the city’s brightness in the new electric light era. The diamond represents the city’s nickname of “Gem City”.
