Rainbow Maine 1901 Flag

 1901 “Lone Pine” Maine flag with a nice rainbow addition on the fly edge (we call it “Maine-bow” in the office); complete with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.

✍️  The Design: The original 1901 flag of Maine, a simple, beautiful, and historic design that has made a huge comeback in recent years. This banner has been embraced once again by Mainers who love its unique character and clean, striking look.

The centerpiece is a proud Eastern White Pine, a longtime symbol of “The Pine Tree State” and its rich logging and shipbuilding history. The single blue North Star in the corner is a direct nod to the state’s powerful motto, “Dirigo,” which is Latin for “I Lead.” 

Set against a distinctive buff-colored field, we added an 11 stripe LGBTQ+ Pride rainbow stripe on the fly edge so you can express your Maine Pride and your Pride Pride!
