✍️ The Design: The flag of Yemen, adopted on May 22, 1990, the day of Yemeni unification, is a horizontal tricolor of red, white, and black. The white stripe signifies a bright and hopeful future, while the black stripe symbolizes the dark and oppressive past that Yemen has endured.
